About Christina Huber, Owner/Trainer

Christina Huber is a skilled and passionate dog trainer who applies proven training philosophies to every dog she works with. A graduate of the Kennelwood Academy for Professional Dog Trainers, Christina has gained experience as a professional trainer at a training facility in the Kansas City area. Now, she is thrilled to bring her expertise back to her hometown of Le Center, MN.

Specializing in balanced training methods, Christina emphasizes real-world results through clear communication, consistency, and compassion. She designs custom training plans tailored to each dog's temperament and goals—whether for basic obedience, advanced commands, or addressing behavioral challenges such as anxiety, reactivity, or aggression. Christina's goal with every dog she trains is not only to enhance the dogs abilities but also empower owners with the tools and knowledge necessary to reinforce good behavior at home.

Her training style reflects a balanced approach that combines structure with affection, leadership with trust, and accountability with reinforcement. With a calm demeanor and confident handling, Christina creates an environment where dogs feel secure, understood, and motivated to learn, contributing to their overall understanding of animal behavior.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, along with a diverse background in animal care—including zookeeping, veterinary support, and kennel management—Christina has a comprehensive understanding of animal health and behavior. She is deeply committed to the well-being of every dog in her care, whether they are staying overnight or participating in a training program.

In her free time, Christina enjoys hiking outdoors with her German Shepherd, Ryker, and training in specialized areas like personal protection and scent work. She also loves spending time on her family’s farm, where her passion for animals first began. Christina is excited to help you, and your dog strengthen your bond through clear communication, trust, and effective dog training.
